Rodeo Queen
The Philomath Frolic & Rodeo Queen serves as an ambassador of the rodeo and the entire Philomath community as she travels throughout the Northwest promoting our heritage, rodeo and the western way of life. The Queen's term is from January 1st through December 31st, and the next year’s queen is selected at tryouts during the Philomath Frolic and Rodeo weekend.

Alora Wright
is your 2025 Philomath Frolic & Rodeo Queen. The day has finally come.... I've waited years to represent this rodeo and support this community. My name is Alora Wright and I am your 2025 Philomath Frolic & Rodeo Queen! I am a 20 year old from right here in Philomath and it has been my dream for the last 13 years to represent this small town rodeo. In 2012 I was inspired by the Philomath Queen after she helped me bandage up an injury from and intense stick horse race. From that day on I wanted to be just like her! My goal for this year is to touch as many young hearts as I possibly can. I have two trusty steads to go down the rodeo road with, Glimmer, my main girl and same horse I’ve had since I was 6, and Boone who is learning the ropes of the rodeo queen world! Without them my job would be impossible! When I’m not rodeoing or at a rodeo you can find me outside helping my brother raise market animals, or you can find us adventuring in our beautiful state of Oregon somewhere! We are not often inside and like to keep it that way if we can . I often have a shadow behind me who would be my 6 year old Blue Heeler, Cash. I have had him since the day he was born and love him to pieces! I can’t wait to represent this small town and big hearted community in 2025!!
I’m also very excited to be extending the Frolic Court by adding a princess title! Our 2025 princess happens to also be a Philomath native who I’ve know for most of her life! Princess Cadence and I will be busy all year promoting our rodeo, our community and everything Frolic! I can’t wait to teach her the ropes and have her all prepared to hopefully run to be our queen one year! Cadence Stevens

My name is Cadence Stevens and I’m so excited to be your 2025 Philomath Frolic & Rodeo Princess. I have lived my entire life in Philomath and am so grateful to be a part of representing this small town. It has always been a dream to be apart of such a great community. As a kid I always looked up to all the rodeo queens and wanted to be just like them so, this year I want to focus on being a good role model to future princesses. I’m 16 years old, and in my junior year at Philomath High School. I’ve been riding horses my entire life. I have two amazing horses by my side this year, Ruby, who is learning how to be in the rodeo world, and Journey, who is new to me but not the rodeo world. I’m so excited to start all the fun adventures and learn from the best! I cannot wait to go into 2025 with Queen Alora. Alora is the one who introduced me to the idea of being princess and I’m so glad. I’ve known Alora most my life and couldn’t wish for a better role model! I can't wait to see what 2025 brings, and to help represent this amazing small town! |

Philomath Frolic & Rodeo Queen tryouts will be held throughout the rodeo weekend, with the winner being announced during the Saturday night performance.
