The City has given planning approval of the Site Plan.
Benton County has given approval of the building permits for the bleachers, announcer's stand, and restroom.
Frolic volunteers has removed the chutes and stock panels on the west side of the arena.
Gerding Builders has brought in gravel and prepared an access road and prepared the area for concrete footings that will support the new bleachers.
Bleachers are being fabricated off site and should arrive by the end of March for installation.

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce plans to rebuild and expand the bleachers, upgrade lighting and make other improvements to the arena.
Project Scope
With conceptual plans in hand, the Board reached out to the City of Philomath in an effort to partner together and ask for funding assistance from the State Legislature. A contingency made up of three city councilors and the city manager went to Salem and delivered the message below to Representative David Gomberg, Senator Anderton and House Speaker Rayfield.
Several additional contacts were made over the next four months to members of both houses and various committees. On Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, it was announced that the allocation of $1.9 million had been given to the City of Philomath for replacement of the bleachers and new lighting.
- Construction of new metal bleachers around the arena
- Replaces the bleachers destroyed in the 2022 fire
- Double seating capacity from 2,250 to 4,157
- Add 5-times the number of ADA seats from 6 to 33
- Improve comfort for all seating types
- Add premium stadium and box seating options
- Installation of energy efficient LED arena lighting
- Replaces high-watt halogen flood lights
- Installation of chutes, gates and fence panels
