The Philomath Frolic & Rodeo Board is pleased to announce the return of the Community Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt will take place Saturday April 19th at 10:02 am. Due to construction of the new restrooms and bleachers at the rodeo grounds, this year's event will be held at the Philomath High School football field.
Over 10,000 candy- and prize-stuffed eggs will be hid for children up to 12 years of age, with separate grass areas for each age group. This is a free, fun event for all children.
After the kids have had their fun, youth and adults 12+ will have their own hunt. No mud this year, but there will be lots of eggs at the annual Golden Egg Hunt! Friends and family will cheer as participants race to find eggs filled with candy, $1 bills, $5 bills, $10s and $20s! Just $5 per entry, open to everyone 12 and older. The Golden Egg Hunt starts at around 11:00 a.m. at the south side of the football field, in front of the covered bleachers.
