TUESDAY, JULY 8TH
6:00 pm Ribbon Cutting Ceremony -Skirvin Park Improvement Project, Phase 1 (West-side bleachers, Announcer's Stand/Rodeo Office, Arena Lighting, Public Restroom, ADA Parking). All are welcome to attend. Ceremony includes guest speakers Mayor Christopher McMorran, Frolic & Rodeo Board of Director President Alyssa Collins, Senator Dick Anderson and Representative David Gomberg. Walking tour of the new improvements and refreshments provided.
7:00 pm All-Volunteer Meeting (mandatory). All volunteers must attend this informational meeting in order participate in this year's Frolic.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 9TH
6:00 pm Frolic Home Run Derby. Held at the new PYAC Ballfields on the rodeo grounds. There are three brackets, adults, teens, and the youth "farthest hit" competition for children 12 and under. $10 registration fee per batter.
Winners get a $25 gift certificate to the Frolic souvenir hut and one (1) year of bragging rights.

THURSDAY, JULY 10TH
5:00-7:00 pm Youth Cornhole Tournament. Double elimination tournament for ages 17 and younger.
All skill levels welcome. Winners each get a custom cornhole set valued at $200. $5 entry.

5:00 - 9:00 pm Food Booths and Craft Vendors. Treat your taste buds and wander through over 40 food and craft vendors.
5:30 - 7:00 pm Frolic Fish Rodeo. No pole? No Net? No Problem! Kids 12 and under can wade though the 1' deep pond and catch a 9"-12" rainbow trout with their bare hands. We'll clean and grill it up for you on the spot. $8 per child. Only 200 tickets available. Registering before the event is encouraged. Click on the Fish Rodeo image above.

We open with a bang as we celebrate "Nobody Fights Alone, Cancer Awareness Night"
Visit the Nobody Fights Alone tent by the Souvenir Hut to purchase raffle tickets for thousands of dollars worth of prizes. Also, purchase a raffle ticket for the hand-made 2025 Frolic & Rodeo Cancer Awareness Quilt.
All proceeds go to benefit families within our community currently fighting cancer.

8:00 am Frolic & Rodeo Queen Pageant Horsemanship Competition in the Frolic Arena. Come cheer on the contestants seeking to earn the title of 2026 Frolic & Rodeo Queen. Free to the public.
9:00 am - 11:00am Sidewalk Chalk Roundup! Sidewalk Coloring Contest at Philomath Community Library. Free event for all ages. Winners from each age group will gift certificates to the Frolic Souvenir Hut.

7:00 - 10:00 Lions Club Annual Rodeo Breakfast. All-you-can-eat pancakes, ham, and eggs. Held at the rodeo grounds long table covered picnic area.
9:00 am -2:00 pm Philomath Classic Car Show (no officially affiliated with the Frolic). Held at City Park, 23rd Street. Free admission.
9:45 am Frolic 5K Family Fun Run. Run or walk the parade route in front of all your cheering fans. Register online.
1K run also available (just the parade route, high school to the Frolic Grounds)

10:00 - 11:30 am Grand Parade, led by this year's Grand Marshal, long-time Philomath School Board member, 4-H Leader, and Rudolph's big helper, Rick Wells.

2:00 - 4:00 pm Professional Timber Sports Competition. Professionals will compete in various ax, saw, and chainsaw events. Free admission; held by the rodeo grounds entrance. Seating is limited; bring a lawn chair.
